The Norfolk Deaf Association was first established in 1898, now over a hundred years later we are still serving deaf and hard of hearing people throughout Norfolk. Our mission statement is;

A group of local deaf youngsters living in and around Norwich and who meet every Thursday. The site gives information about local deaf events, what’s happening at the club and has a message forum.
STAGETEXT provides open captioning to give deaf and hard of hearing people access to the theatre.
The actors' words are converted into visible text which appears on a display unit installed on or near the stage. Speaker names, sound effects and offstage noises are also included.
A captioned performance is delivered by a captioner trained by STAGETEXT.

BSL driving is an independent driving school that serves Norwich and the surrounding area. It offers many levels of tuition, from complete beginner to mature driver looking for a refresher course. All lessons are conducted in a professional manner, by a patient and friendly DSA approved driving Instructor who has BSL level II.
They provide a range of service for the Deaf Community in West Norfolk
This is a new project set up with help from the Princes Trusts to test and rent out Induction Loops.
