At the Open Door we can support deaf and hard of hearing people with everyday tasks. If we are unable to help ourselves, we are usually able to signpost you to someone who can help. We use deaf and hearing staff all of whom who can use British Sign Language.
Who can use the service?
Deaf Connexions Open Door Sessions are open to Norfolk people who are deaf or hard of hearing who need information or support.
What can the service provide?
People who are deaf or hard of hearing sometimes find everyday tasks difficult. For example:
- Finding Information
- Finding out about equipment and services
- Understanding letters and forms
- Accessing benefits information
- Making an appointment

Johnson Place, Norwich
Every Tuesday 10.00am – 12.00pm
Every Thursday 10.00am –12.00pm
We are also involved in events such as road shows and exhibitions throughout the county. If you are unable to get to our Open Door sessions, you can contact us by telephone, or fax, text or minicom or email and we will attend to your query at the next session.
