Volunteers Needed!
Our new Internet Café will open in the New Year. We need volunteers to help run the café, and to help with the computers. Can you volunteer some free time? Please contact us if you can. We also need volunteers to cover the reception area at the Deaf Centre from time to time. If you can help in any way please contact us or leave your name and contact details with Julie Dwyer.
Children In Need Event
The Children in Need Coffee Morning raised an amazing £369! Many thanks to everyone involved!

Great Yarmouth Coffee Morning
Deaf Connexions runs a Coffee Morning which meets regularly at the Norfolk Coastal Centre for Independent Living in Gorleston every Wednesday morning 10-12. Do come along and join us if you are in the area. The Sensory Support team also runs an equipment clinic there on
the last Wednesday of the month. There will be a presentation (with BSL interpreter) on Fire Safety by the Fire Service on Wednesday 24 February 2010 11 - 12 at the centre in Gorleston. We hope to arrange a similar event for the Norwich Deaf Community Centre.
Coffee mornings
We hope to start a new coffee morning in Cromer in the New Year. And we hope to set up another one in Diss later in the year. Please look out for further details. There is also an excellent coffee morning in Kings Lynn every Thursday morning 10-12. Do drop in if you are in the area.
Car Parking
Car parking at the Vauxhall Centre is becoming a problem .We are working with the Vauxhall Centre to sort this out. If you can, please use the bus or park away from the centre and walk, until we have found a solution. We do not actually have any parking in the Vauxhall Centre car park.
